Payton Henry, a catcher with the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays), is “alert and appropriately responsive” after being hit within the head by a backswing from Syracuse Mets utility man Pablo Reyes on Friday evening, the crew introduced. Henry was discharged from the hospital Saturday and Blue Jays supervisor John Schneider mentioned he’s “doing alright,” per Sportsnet.

“Payton Henry has been discharged from the hospital and is doing properly as he continues to relaxation and get better,” the Bisons mentioned in an announcement Saturday. “We wish to categorical our nice gratitude to the Syracuse Mets group and the medical help crew at Upstate College Hospital for his or her help and help for Payton in his time of want.”

Henry fell to the bottom after being struck by Reyes’ backswing, and was positioned on a backboard and brought to the hospital. There was clearly no intent to injure. It was simply an unlucky accident. This is the harm:
