The official date and location for the 2023 WWE Survivor Series have been announced. The event will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Saturday, Nov. 25.
The Survivor Series is considered one of WWE’s most important events, often referred to as one of the “big four” alongside SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and WrestleMania. It has now become part of the “big five” with the addition of Money in the Bank.
The Survivor Series traditionally features elimination-style matches with teams of four or five superstars. Last year’s event was given the “WarGames” branding and featured a team-based, time-interval match held inside a cage constructed around two rings. While this year’s announcement did not mention WarGames, it’s possible that it could be included closer to the event as storylines develop.
Last year’s main event was a WarGames match between The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn) and the team of Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch), Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens.
